I admit, I've been guilty of hitting the road and having accidentally forgotten to bring any kind of ID. I've been lucky but foolish to not make it a bigger priority.
Recently, I became twitter / FB friends with Go Sport ID - when they were kind enough to recognize a recent blog of mine, I decided to reach out to them to see if they'd be interested in doing a giveaway with me. They said sure. They were even kind enough to let me try one out for myself too.
I got mine in the mail a few weeks ago and I love it. It's comfortable and strapping it on has become as second nature as putting my sneakers on before heading out. I have some peace of mind knowing that if something happens while I'm out during a run, someone can use my emergency contact numbers that are strapped around my wrist.

I actually saw that one of my running buddies was wearing a Road ID this morning and I told her I was jealous! I follow your blog, and I really hope I get to win one of my own!
I was out this morning at the track. I had my cell phone on me and my car key on my shoelace, with my car in the parking lot (pocketbook) in trunk. But when it's emergency (like I pass out on the track) people don't have time to take the key off my shoe run to every Hyundai in the parking lot AND find my pocketbook nestled in the trunk. This is a FANTASTIC idea! Thanks Jen!

I was thinking of getting one of these because I run on a busy street, some of my family members do not feel it is safe, but I refuse to drive somewhere to go for a run.

I have a tag on my shoe, but someone recently pointed out to me that if you get hit by a car - your shoe normally flies off! I didn't know this, but now I want an ID for my wrist just to be safe.
